Green Screen Practise

Today we practised using the green screen for the first time by recording someone lip-syncing to a song for 30 seconds in front of the green screen and changing the green to a image of our choice. We had a short tutorial to follow which turned out to be a simple process. We chose a simple field of flowers to be our background but then later added a space theme alongside the field to see if we could follow the process without using the tutorial. Here is our 30 second clip:
We had a small problem with the shadow being in the background therefore ruining the green screen effect. We did manage to remove part of it with some effects but I have learnt that the lights must be placed in a certain way to prevent a shadow forming and will make the overall effect look smoother.

EDIT: Unfortunately the footage was lost before it could be uploaded to the blog
